After studying Electronic and High-Frequency Technology at the Technical University of Innsbruck, Wolfgang Kerschbaum joined the Balzers company in Liechtenstein in 1980, where he started as a product manager for mass spectrometry. In 1986 he moved to the subsidiary Balzers Belgium NV and worked there as Sales Manager. 1994, he founded Pfeiffer Vacuum Benelux and was Managing Director for the Benelux market for 12 years. In 2006, he founded Benelux Process and has since been working with well-known European technology companies. In 2019, he founded Hiden Analytical Europe GmbH in Düsseldorf and serves as the responsible Managing Director. Wolfgang has been a long and active member of BELVAC, and recently his company sponsors the “Benelux Process travel award” to give young researchers the opportunity to join conferences and workshop.
